Sleepy No More: How Residents of South Texas Build Power Against the Border Wall
Abstract
A short documentary project on how the residents of South Texas build resistance against the Border Wall during the 2020 election cycle. The project follows a group of activists orchestrating a series of actions that employ art and public engagement as core strategies in their advocacy. Their fight is important as one of the nation's oldest treasures, the historic Treviño-Uribe Fort in San Ygnacio, TX, is in danger of being damaged with the construction of a wall.
