The University Archives serves as the institutional memory of Texas State University. It is the official repository for non-current University records with long-term value and accepts select donations of records, artifacts, and memorabilia related to the institution that have enduring historical or research value.
The University Archives selects, organizes, describes, preserves, and makes available the institutional records that document the academics, administration, people, and culture of Texas State University, from its founding in 1899 to the present. Holdings include publications, financial records, meeting minutes, oral histories, photographic negatives, audio and visual recordings, preservation copies of theses and dissertations, personal papers, artifacts, and memorabilia.
This is not an exhaustive list of everything available in the Archives. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you may have regarding the materials in the University Archives.
