Abstract
This presentation to the International Research Society of Public Management dealt with the wellness challenges faced by academic women in public administration. The two presenters, Dr. Patricia Shields and Dr. Nicole Elias recently published an edited book, The Handbook of Gender and Public Administration. They spoke of their wellness challenges while co-editing this book during a pandemic. Strategies to enhance wellness were also developed. The presentation begins with a summary of the Handbook. The session was sponsored by Academic Women in Public Administration.
