Disabled and Proud Interdisciplinary Art Showcase

Disabled & Proud (I am different but not less) is an art showcase centered on the experience of Texas State University’s disabled student population. The purpose of this program is to create a better sense of community within the disabled community and provide disabled students an opportunity to share their voice in whichever medium best suites their artistic needs. The targeted participants are disabled Texas State University students who have art to showcase, or would like to create art to showcase, centered on their experience. Audience members may include Texas State University students, staff, visitors and faculty members.
