Abstract

Writing a dystopian, sci-fi novel with a focus on intersectionality between race/species and queer themes, through the use of non-human sentient species and sentient half-species. Commentary on mediaʼs problematic portrayal of lgbtq+ characters as thin, white, tragic characters without the ability to have flaws.
