dc.description.abstractThe number of international trade agreements is growing, but their efficiency still raises doubts. In this thesis, I decided to assess NAFTA, because it is the first free trade agreement among asymmetrically developed countries. Today, almost eighteen years after NAFTA was founded, the results of it can serve as a reference to other developing countries in making their decision whether to join asymmetrical trade agreements or not.en_US
