dc.description.abstract | Martin Luther King, Jr., once said, "Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle." This paper discusses the changes that are affecting the Health Information Management professional’s skill set and where these changes are leading these individuals. As the industry continues to experience changes, so will the responsibilities of the HIM professional. The problem with these changes is determining whether the HIM professional has the necessary skill set to adapt to the changing environment. | |
