Research Enhancement Program Final Report
A Research Enhancement Grant of $3,000 enabled me to spend six research days at the Tennyson Research Centre in Lincoln, England, where I read and copied correspondence related to Alfred Tennyson's publications in British and American periodicals from 1829 to 1892. The trip included airfare from Austin to and from London, train fare to and from Lincoln, hotel accommodations for eight nights, and meals for ten days. While at the Tennyson Research Centre, I was able to read and copy all letters pertinent to my study, as well as examine proofs of poems published in Victorian periodicals.
