dc.description.abstract | The current investigation explores the presence of secondary traumatic stress, which is defined as the potentially negative impact of working with clients who have experienced traumatic events, in a sample of professional counseling students. The relationship between secondary traumatic stress and emotional empathic tendency was explored. In addition, the potential for secondary traumatic stress to be associated with poorer reports of general perceived health status was also explored. | |
