This study focuses on grief and stress as encompassing most of these daily life issues and discusses the effects on both the body and mind while living under continued or unexplored grief and stress. As well, the concept of eustress is explored as a beneficial stress which journaling can also help to generate and advance. The study ends with an overview of journaling workshop in which the layperson can both facilitate and participate. The purpose of this thesis is to provide anyone the skills and knowledge to run their own workshop.
