Abstract
Public reaction on Twitter exploded after Christine Blasey Ford testified she was sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh when they were teens. He denied her allegations and became the 114th justice on the U.S. Supreme Court on Oct. 6, 2018. This study employs feminist theory in analyzing tweets containing "Kavanaugh Hearings" and "Black Twitter." Findings indicate most tweets studied fell into five key categories: call to action, historical repetition, steep racial/political divide, white privilege and informational.
