Abstract
This practitioner-focused paper is about an example of professional development failure in teacher education. We detail the real-life journey of the educational technology program during the 2013/14 school year in which training was planned to assist education faculty in the use of technology in their courses. This presentation outlines the hopes, the reality, lessons learned, and how failure can inform practice.
